I’ve been reaching out to a range of sustainability experts and community members to get suggestions of innovative sustainability projects I could visit on my bike journey, and have pulled together this map showing the ones I’ve heard about. I’ve also been plotting my camp spots as I go to mark my route.

It turns out there are multitudes of great projects out there, and thousands of people working on different solutions to the sustainability challenges of our time. I won’t be able to visit all of these projects, and I won’t necessarily write about all of the places that I do visit. But it’s exciting to discover there’s so much happening in this space — it’s like a smorgasbord of innovations to explore.
